Azerbaijani Justice Minister attends international conference in Serbia

Baku. Ramil Mammadli-APA. Justice Minister, Chairman of Judicial Council Fikret Mammadov attended the international conference on judicial power held in the capital of Serbia with support of OSCE, Press Service of Justice Ministry told APA.
The conference focused on importance of education in the strengthening of judicial power and coinciding it with international standards. Mammadov addressing the conference spoke about recent reforms implemented for improvement of judicial system in Azerbaijan. The Minister underlined the problems, which Azerbaijan faced as a result of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. Mammadov also met with his Serbian counterpart SneÅ¾ana MaloviÄ‡ during the visit. The meeting covered prospects of the cooperation and exchange of experience. MaloviÄ‡ expressed his intention to sign cooperation agreement between justice ministries of the two countries for the development of mutual activity.
