Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. Raids on bars will continue until prostitution-related crimes are wiped out, Chief of Interior Ministry’s Department to Combat Human Trafficking Javad Shikhaliyev said, APA reports. He said that the bars, where the facts on prostitution were found, would not be closed.
“It is not a crime, but an administrative responsibility. One should not interfere in the entrepreneur’s activity, violate rights while combating one sphere,” he said.

Javad Shikhaliyev said a number of diseases were found in the women, who had been detained during the raids on bars and added that they would appeal to the related bodies in connection with this.

The department chief said centers had been built for the human trafficking victims in Azerbaijan. He noted that the victims of human trafficking stayed in that shelters for a month, they were supplied with food, medical, psychological assistance and received compensation.
