20 prostitutes had been detained as a result of operation under motto “Protection of national values†carried out in “Black House†in 28 May Street, Nasimi District, “Maximum†in Azadlig Avenue, “555†in Brothers Mardanov Street, “Neptun†in Badalbayli Street, “Siyah Bayaz†in Nakhchivansky Street, Nizami District, “Gaya†in Suleymanov Street, “Imperator†in Khagani Street, “Eko†and “Atlant†in Nematulla Street, Narimanov District.
Women were interrogated and they said that they were engaged in prostitution to earn money. There were persons, who were detained during previous police raid. After medical examination, detained persons will be fined AZN 40 and released according to legislation.
