Baku â€“ APA. â€œSoldiers of the Interior Troops have been deployed in the north of Azerbaijan in connection with military exercisesâ€, Spokesman of Interior Ministry, Colonel Sadig Gozalov told APA. The spokesman said that according to the plan confirmed by Interior Minister, exercises are held in the Interior Troops every year.
â€œThe exercises aim at increasing battle readiness of the Interior Troops,â€ he said.
APAâ€™s north bureau reported yesterday that the soldiers and military equipment of Interior Troops had been deployed in Azerbaijanâ€™s Guba and Gusar regions to seek arms in the territory. It was reported that Hezre village of Gusar Region was mainly searched and Gusar Region Police Office was on alert.
