House of state-run newspaperâ€™s assistant editor-in-chief robbed

Yasamal District Police Office Department #26 told APA that assistant editor-in-chief of Respublika newspaper, teacher of Gafgaz and Western Universities Gurbanova Nargiz Ahmad had appealed to the police department #26 a week before and said AZN 4,000 and a great deal of jewelries had been stolen from her house. The investigation group proved that burglary had been committed in Gurbanovaâ€™s house.

Search operations lasted for a week. Baku resident, Malikov Ilkin Malik, 28, has been arrested today in the aftermath of the operations.

Yasamal District Police Office launched criminal case on the fact on article 177 (robbery) of the Criminal Code, investigation is underway.
