Baku. Elnur Mammadli–APA. Nasimi District Court passed decision to bring the editor-in-chief of Ideal newspaper Nazim Guliyev to justice at the suit raised by Chairwoman of Azeri-Turk Women Union Tanzila Rustamkhanli, APA reports. Rustamkhanli asked the court to charge Guliyev under article 147.2 (The slander, which is connected with accusation of committing serious or especially serious crime) and article 148 (Insult) of the Criminal Code.
On October 29 the court under the chairmanship of Judge Elman Ahmadov passed decision to bring Guliyev in justice and declared search for him. On his detention Guliyev should be taken to the first isolation ward of the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service.
The court entrusted Nasimi District Police Office with execution of its decision. Proceedings were cancelled until the Guliyev’s detention.
