Muslum Magomayevâ€™s body brought from Moscow to Baku

APAâ€™s correspondent in Heydar Aliyev Airport reports that the body was accompanied by Muslum Magomayevâ€™s wife Tamara Sinyavskaya, famous producer Yuli Gusman, Honored Artist of Russia Oleg Gazmanov, acting Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Elchin Efendiyev, Rector of Baku Music Academy Farhad Badalbayli, who had been sent to Russia to participate in the farewell ceremony in Moscow, Chairman of All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress Mammad Aliyev, Vice-President of the Congress Araz Agalarov.
They were met by acting Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev, Mayor of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov, President of AzAL CJSC Jahangir Asgarov, Azerbaijani Peopleâ€™s Artists Fidan and Khuraman Gasimovas in Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Gazmanov told journalists he felt himself happy when met Muslum Magomayev. Gusman called Magomayev great artist and a man of genius.
Badalbeyli spoke about the farewell ceremony in Moscow and about the peopleâ€™s love to Magomayev. â€œI saw endless stream of people came to say farewell to Muslum in Moscow, they were standing in line to pay tribute to his memory. They followed his coffin with applauds and chanted â€œBravo, Muslum!â€.
The artistâ€™s daughter Marina and her wife arrived in Baku from the United States last evening to attend the funeral ceremony.
The coffin was taken from the airport to Goy Masjeed (Blue Mosque) for preparation for the funeral according to the Muslim traditions.
Magomayevâ€™s farewell ceremony will be held on Wednesday at 11.00 â€“ 15.00 at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall named after his grandfather composer Muslum Magomayev. The great singer will be buried at the I Alley of Honor at 16.00.
