Bank officer wanted for 7 years arrested in Azerbaijan

Binagadi District Police Office told APA that resident of Bilajari settlement, Dadashov Dadash Baladadash, 53, is accused of embezzling money in the bank he worked. Narimanov District Court passed a judgment on his arrest in 2001, but Dadashov reportedly left Azerbaijan and hid in different cities of Russia for 7 years.

Binagadi District Police Office has recently received information about his returning to Azerbaijan. Dadashov was arrested by the district police. The execution of the criminal case launched in 2001 has restarted.

Former bank officer Dadash Dadashov faced charges under article 179 (embezzlement) of the Criminal Code. It is not reported in which bank he had worked.
