Ombudsman receives representative of OSCE election observation mission

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova has received legal analyst of OSCE election observation mission Fransene Berry, Ombudsmanâ€™s press service told APA. Elmira Suleymanova spoke about the importance of the voting right and said election was the expression of peopleâ€™s will. Ombudsman said voting right was explained to the people in different regions of the country and underlined that much work had been done for this. Ombudsman said while meeting with people they called on them to take active part in the elections. Elmira Suleymanova said along with the representatives of ombudsmanâ€™s office she would visit polling stations and observe the voting procedure. The visitor was told that ombudsman and 25 employees of ombudsmanâ€™s office would observe the elections in the regions. Fransene Berry noted the necessity of holding fair and transparent elections.
