Nardaran residents to picket in land plot owned by former US ambassador Stanley Escudero

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. A group of residents of Nardaran settlement will picket in connection with the land-related problem occurred between them and former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Stanley Escudero living in Baku. Responsible representative of the residents Rasim Alizadeh told APA that the picket would be held in the place called Sefkhani on September 27. The picketers will protest against the Escuderosâ€™ seizing 30-hectare land plot planted by them for a long time.
Nardaran residents were stripped of the land plot in the place called Sefkhani by the court decision in 2006. The residents became aware of it only a year later. The court passed decision basing on the suit of Nardaran resident Salman Jabrayilov.
