APA reports that vice-speaker of the parliament Bahar Muradova, Chairwoman of State Student Admission Commission Maleyka Abbaszadeh, Human Rights Commissioner Elmira Suleymanova, parliamentarians Rabiyyat Aslanova, Ganira Pashayeva, Elmira Akhundova attended the meeting. Chairperson of State Committee on Family, Women and Childrenâ€™s Affairs Hijran Huseynova said Suzanne Mubarak paid special attention to the womenâ€™s problems and actively combated violence against women. Suzanne Mubarak said she was pleased to be in Azerbaijan.
â€œI am pleased to be in your splendid environment. I am glad to have an opportunity to get acquainted with you. The changes observed in your country are familiar to us, Egypt has already passed this stage. The role of women is clearly observed in the developed countries,â€ she said.
The First Lady of Egypt will participate in the 1st Congress of Azerbaijani Women in Baku.
