Four members of Azeri family killed in plane crash in Perm

Chairman of Per regional organization of All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress Jamal Mammadov told APA that they were Ifraim Nakhumov, 36, Golda Nakhumova, 24, Ilya Nakhumova, 7, and Yeva Nakhumova, 5. Mammadov said he did not know their citizenship and added that Ifraim Nakhumov had worked in Perm.

8 Azerbaijanis (7 of them are citizens of Azerbaijan) died during the plane crash on the night of September 13-14. Azeri Tagi Osmanov, 14, (not citizens of Azerbaijan) was returning from summer holidays to Perm where his family lived.

Jamal Mammadov said quoting members of the commission that the bodies were unrecognizable, they would be identified after DNA testing.
â€œThis is a long process. Such tests are made in Russia only in the laboratory in Rostov,â€ he said.
He said the bodies would be brought to Azerbaijan after some time.

The plane en route Moscow-Perm crashed killing 82 passengers and 6 crew members.
