Azerbaijani boxer Vugar Alakbarov released from the court room

Vugar Alakbarov has been released from the court room, APA reports. The boxerâ€™s relatives told journalists that his guilt had not been proved and therefore he was released. The process was close for media.
The court sources told APA Article 182.3.2 (extortion with application of violence) of the Criminal Code, under which Alakbarov faced charges, was replaced with Article 322. 2 (arbitrariness (the same act committed with application of violence or with threat of its application) and according to this article Alakbarov served his imprisonment (3 months and 23 days).
At the court session on September 9, Alakbarov refused all evidences he gave during the preliminary investigation.
Alakbarov faced charges under Article 182.3.2 (extortion with application of violence) of the Criminal Code. The boxer threatened and demanded $10.000 from Kanan Guliyev and was arrested by officials of Interior Ministryâ€™s Main Department on Combating Crimes on May 16, 2008.
