Two Azerbaijani citizens arrested in Moscow for counterfeiting

Moscow–APA. Two Azerbaijani citizens were arrested in Moscow while attempting to sell counterfeit currencies, APA quotes Interfax agency. Moscow General Office of Internal Affairs said their officers approached counterfeiters under the pretence of buying currencies. Azerbaijanis demanded 180 thousand real rubles for 230 thousand false rubles saying that the currencies were counterfeited masterly.
The sides agreed to reach deal in one of the restaurants in Moscow’s Cherkizov market. The Azerbaijani citizens were arrested by the officers of Special Police Forces while attempting to sell false currencies to the “clients”. A criminal case was launched on the appropriate article of the Russian Criminal Code.
