Baku Appeal Court keeps verdict about Farhad and Rafig Aliyevs in force

Baku. Haji Zeynalov â€“APA. On Wednesday, Baku Appeal Court has finalized hearings on the appellate appeal of former minister of economic development Farhad Aliyev, former president of Azpetrol Group of Companies Rafig Aliyev and other persons. The Court decided to keep verdict of the court of Grave Crimes about Farhad and Rafig Aliyevs, as well as other persons in force. Farhad Aliyev was sentenced for 10 and Rafig Aliyev for 9 years of imprisonment. They were accused on Article 179 (assignment or waste) of the Criminal Code, Article 192 (illegal business), Article 206 (smuggling), Article 213 (evasion from payment of taxes), Article 308 (abusing official powers), Article 311 (reception of a bribe) and Article 313 (service forgery).
