Heavy rains cause natural disaster in Shamakhi

As a result of river floods, hundreds of houses remained under the water, Agamustafa Vahidov, Deputy Head of Executive Authority of Shamakhi Region told APA. Roads and highways were seriously damaged and bridges were destroyed completely. Head of Shamakhi Executive Power ordered to establish special commission to assess the damages. Vahidov said Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov kept regular contact with the regional administration and discussed the situation. Four top officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been sent to the region. All efforts have been mobilized to eliminate the problems.
