Prosecutor to address trial on the case of Sergey Strekalin

Baku. Haji Zeynalov-APA. Trial on the case of Sergey Strekalin, who accused in causing damage to the health of Agil Khalili, official of â€œAzadligâ€ newspaper has been held in Nasimi Court today, APA reports.
Trial has been presided over by Shahin Abdullayev. Lawyer of Agil Khalili Elchin Sadigov demanded to look at phone owned by Strekalin. The court has not ensured the demand. Afterwards, the court made documents public and ended investigation. Judge Shahin Abdullayev wanted Public Prosecutor address the court. Prosecutor demanded time to address the court. Trial was fixed on July 14.
Strekalin faced charges under Articles 127.1 (Deliberate causing of minor serious harm to health) and 234.1 (Illegal purchase or storage without a purpose of selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances in a quantity (amount) exceeding necessary for personal consumption) of the Criminal Code.
