Leader of Christian-Baptist community in Zagatala detained for 2-month arrest

Zagatala. Hafiz Heydarovâ€“APA. Leader of the Christian-Baptist community in Zagatala Hamid Shabanov accused in the illegal arm-wearing was detained and sent to the second investigative isolation ward in Ganja for the two-month arrest, Zagatala Polic Department told APA local bureau. Investigative measures on the criminal case launched on the detention of Shabanov and the case will be sent to the court after the investigation.
Shabanov was detained on June 22 and one Makarov pistol and 37 banned religious books were found in his house. The criminal case was launched on Article 228 of the Criminal Code.
