A jailor undermining to abscond from prison commits suicide

The Prosecutor officials said lifers Chingiz Mammadov and Adalat Gulamov undermined a tunnel with 2 meters depth and 8 meters length to abscond from the prison, but their attempt was unveiled on June 21. The investigation was started on the incident and a day later after the testimony one of the prisoners Adalat Gulamov hanged himself in the cell. Garadag District Prosecutorâ€™s Office has launched a criminal case on Article 304.1 (runaway from places of imprisonment, from place of arrest or from place guard, committed by person who is serving time or taking place in imprisonment pending trail) and on Article 125 (bringing to suicide) of the Criminal Code. â€œYeni Musavatâ€ newspaper spread first information about the incident.
