Mahbuba Gasimbayli-APA. â€œIn the court hearing on June 24 on the case of Sergey Strekalin, lawyer Akif Malikov and public prosecutor petitioned for Agil Khalilovâ€™s interrogation in the court saying that he gave contradictious testimonies during the initial investigation. The court granted the petition,â€ Shahin Abdullayev, judge of Nasimi district court, who presides over the hearing on the case of Sergey Strekalin, said while answering APAâ€™s questionnaire. The questionnaire was connected with some media reports, which wrote that â€œAzadligâ€ newspaper correspondent Agil Khalilâ€™s participation in the court hearing was not necessary. The judge said that in order to ensure complete, thorough and unbiased investigation of all important cases, the court hearing had been postponed till July 1 in connection with Agil Khalilovâ€™s interrogation in the court.
