Heavy rains in the northern part of Azerbaijan

Gusar. Solmaz Mehdiyeva-APA. Heavy rains fell in the northern region of Azerbaijan in the morning on Monday. As a result of rain lasted for several hours water level rose in the rivers, APA local bureau reports. Roads led to the mountainous villages of Gusar Region â€“ Anig, Zindanmurug and other mountainous areas were flooded and it restricted traffic there. A small landslide happened in Mucug Village. Corn fields in Khachmaz and Guba regions were seriously damaged as a result of heavy rain. Emergency commissions of the regional executive authorities and local municipal officials visited the areas hit by the natural disaster.
