He was arrested on Article 234 of the Criminal Code (Illegal manufacturing, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances). The lawyer said he had met with Nadirov at the isolation ward of the Ministry of National Security a week before and said he didnâ€™t consider himself as a guilty.
The sons of the former prosecutors Mahir Mirsalamov and Yalchin Hasanow were also arrested for this case. They are also accused on Article 234. Singer and composer Tunar Rahmanoglu was also involved in the interrogation. Rahmanoglu confirmed to APA that he was called to the Ministry of National Security and bore testimony a week ago.
Orkhan Nadirov is the Guliyevaâ€™s adoptive son and the son of her cousin Lala.
