Unexploded cannon balls found in the territory of secondary school and medical station in Tartar Region of Azerbaijan

Tartar. Teymour Zahidoglu -APA. 122 mm unexploded cannon balls were found in the territory of secondary school and medical station in Gapanli village of Tartar region of Azerbaijan. Chief of Tartar Civil Defense headquarter Ilgar Musayev told APA Karabakh bureau, canon-balls found in the hospital’s reservoir were thrown by the Armenians during a war. Another ball was found in the secondary school. Experts of Azerbaijan National Agency for Anti-Mine Action (ANAMA) examined both areas. Field engineers hold preparations for the deactivation of the explosives. Musayev said most part of the lands in the village was considered polluted with the unexploded ammunitions. A ground-to-ground rocket projectile with 8 m length was also found in the territory. It will also be deactivated.
