171 human skulls found in mass grave in Guba

On Thursday, Azerbaijan Human Rights Commissioner Elmira Suleymanova and Director of Archeology and Ethnography Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Maisa Rahimova visited the mass grave found in Guba Region of Azerbaijan. Chief Researcher Gahraman Agayev told APA that they had discussed proposals on camp out museum in the territory of mass grave. â€œWe are preparing inquiry related to the opening of museum in mass grave made as a result of Armenian-committed genocide against Azerbaijani people. The inquiry will be discussed at the Scientific Council of our institute and then will be submitted to the Human Rights Commissionerâ€™s Office. The Human Rights Commissioner will address the President of Azerbaijan for establishing of the museumâ€. Agayev said they had found four more human skulls as a result of archeological excavations. â€œThose are bones of old people. According to the latest facts, the number of human skulls found in the mass grave reached 171. Our main goal is the widening of archeological excavations in the territory and to hand over this area to corresponding organizationsâ€.
