Interior Ministry and Prosecutorâ€™s Office announced details of murder of four members of a family in Baku

Press-Service of the Interior Ministry told APA. Residents of Baku â€“ Ofelia Aslanova, her daughters Sevinj and Khanum Abbasova and 7-year-old grandson Farid have been killed with knife and drilling instruments. As a result of operational investigation measures, it was identified that 23-year-old citizen of Yardimli Region Nuriyev Niyamaddin had committed the crime. He was detained on April 17 in Yardimli. He acknowledged during the interrogation that he had committed murder with a view to greediness. The investigators identified that Nuriyev was an individual worker in Baku and knew this family during the repairing works he provided in their apartment and kept familiarity with 29-year-old Sevinj Abbasova, Aslanovaâ€™s little daughter. He knew that the family engaged in the purchase and sale of real estate and run into money. He visited them on April 14 and stayed overnight. He got up at 3.00 and gravely wounded the members of the Abbasov family, robbed the apartment fully and burned it to remove the traces. Then he escaped from the scene. 40 thousand US dollars and jewelry of 10 thousand dollars have been found in Nuriyevâ€™s house in Jiy village of Yardimli Region and his bloody clothes have been taken from shrubbery roadside on a way to the village. Baku Prosecutorâ€™s Office continues the operational investigation measures.
