Azerbaijani Professor’s house robbed in Istanbul

The house was robbed 20 days ago.Nobody was at home. Burglars have stolen money, jewellery and one notebook. Police was instructed to disclose the burglary, because Kamil Vali is well-known person in Turkey and he is Professor of Yeditepe University and member of Turkish Language Association and Ataturk Cultural Center. His wife and sister-in law’s passports have also been robbed and therefore they have returned to Baku with document given by the Consulate General in Istanbul. Kamil Vali’s wife Fatma Vali has given this information to APA.
To her, they went for a walk with family in Istanbul and when they returned home they saw that the house had been robbed on March 25.
“We saw that robbers had broken the door and stolen jewellery of my daughter-in-law, my son’s credit card, notebook, flight tickets and my sister’s documents”, she said. Fatma Vali said that criminal case had been launched and robbers have not been determined yet.
“The police have captured robber stealing the jewellery from neighboring house one day after the accident. We have looked at things robbed by the person. There were not our things”, she said.
Kamil Vali Narimanoglu is in Turkey at present.
