Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. An Azerbaijani attempting to smuggle foreign currency from Russia has been detained in Sheremetyevo Airport, Moscow. APA reports quoting Russian Mass Media that the customs officials have found $290,902 and 21,000 rubles in the carry-on bag of the passenger of Baku-Moscow flight and â‚¬181,800 in his pocket. $870 and 20,850 rubles have also been found on his person. Thus, it has been determined that the Azerbaijani attempted to smuggle 13mln. rubles not shown in the customs declaration from the country. Criminal case on â€œsmugglingâ€ will possibly be launched on the case.
