“Serhed-Siper” operations finished in Azerbaijan’s territories bordering on Russia

Zagatala. Hafiz Heydarov-APA. “Serhed-Siper” operations carried out in the north-western region of Azerbaijan bordering on Russia have finished today. A great deal of ammunitions was found in Gakh, Zagatala and Balakan regions bordering on Dagestan again. Deputy Chief of Gakh Region Police Office Mammad Maliyev told APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau that 1 submachine gun, 2 hand grenades, 2 magazines and 200 shells were found in the forest strip on Gakh-Ilisu highway on March 30. Zagatala police found 4 hand grenades and 39 grenade lighters in the territory of Mazikh village, 1 Toz-8 rifle and 2 hand grenades were found in the territory called Arilig of Balakan Region. The ammunitions have been handed over to the Interior Ministry.
Three wanted persons have been arrested and a great deal of ammunitions have been found in Shaki, Gakh, Zagatala and Balakan regions as a result of “Serhed-Siper” operations carried out by Interior Ministry.
