Altai province court sentences skinheads killing Azerbaijani

Russia – APA. A court in Altai province found two men guilty in committing several murders and stirring up national hatred and enmity. APA reports that initial investigation and court investigation proved that skinheads had killed Armenian Grachik Bagramyan on October 15 and 39-year-old Azerbaijani Ziyadkhan Eyvazov on November 1, 2006. The sufferers in their initial testimonies said several men attacked them. Skinheads stroke both men with hammer and broke their arms and legs. Grachik Bagramyan and Ziyadkhan Eyvazov were immediately taken to hospital, but died a few days later. Two men aged 20 and 23 were arrested during the initial investigation. It was found out they were members of the illegal chauvinist organization propagating ideology of hatred to non-Slavic people. The court sentenced the skinheads to 17 and 15 years in jail respectively.
