Protest action held in Nardaran settlement of Baku – <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

APA reports that the protesters gathered in Imam Huseyn square. Resident of the settlement Haji Ali Huseynov said that the improvement of Muslim world made the enemies of Islam angry and they tried to revenge on Muslims by insulting Prophet Muhammad. He said the international Zionism attempting to separate Muslims and form negative image created Wahhabism in Islamic countries and brought persons like Saddam Huseyn to power. Resident of the village Haji Alikram Aliyev said there is support to those who insult Prophet Muhammad in Azerbaijan. He called on Azerbaijani Muslims to fight against the enemies of Islam and not to be indifferent to the humiliation of Prophet Muhammad.
Nardaran resident Mashadi Natig Karimov, Haji Hikmat and others voiced slogans against the US and some western states. The protesters voiced slogans supporting political figures of Iran Ayatollah Khomeini and Seyid Ali Khamnei, burnt flags of the US and Israel and effigy of the U.S. president George Bush.
