Astara. Aghaddin Babayev-APA. The search of the flight recorder and pilots of Azerbaijan’s Mig-29 air force jet, which crashed into the sea on January 29, continues. Chief of State Border Service, Lieutenant-General Elchin Guliyev told journalists. He said that delay of the search is connected with unfavorable weather.
“Strong wind may have changed places of parts and pilots of the air force jet,” he said.
The air force jet crashed near Shurabad village of Khizi region on January 29 killing two pilots Fakhraddin Asgarov and Afgan Aslanov. Forces of Defense Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, Border Troops and ships of State Oil Company have been involved in the search.
