Baku. Anakhanum Hidayatova – APA. Moldovan Parliamentary Advocate Aurelia Grigoriu’s interview to APA
-Could you safely leave Armenia after your speech in the country?
- I was demanded to apologize for leaving Armenia without any obstacle. Diplomats and other people, I was in constant contact with, called and said that I should apologize. Surely, those people were on the Armenian side.
- What was your reaction to the requests?
- I didn’t aim to humiliate and insult anyone. I told the truth, the information approved by international organizations in my speech. I do not think that I should apologize to someone for it.
- Did you face threats in Armenia?
- I was threatened on my "Facebook" profile. I received a call in the hotel room saying that my hairs would be torn out. I informed our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and my relatives. My family has also faced threats. The driver did not want to take me from the hotel and a minute later I received a message to my "Facebook" profile that surprises are waiting for me. I think that these were related to each other. This was the position of the host country towards me.
- The Armenian media reports that I had been suborned by the Azerbaijani side and implemented an order…
- I visit many countries and make speeches. As an Ombudsman, I attend an international conference in Azerbaijan once a year and it does not give ground to say that someone has suborned me. This is a lie and poor tactic of the Armenian side.
- Do you feel safe now?
- Of course, I feel safe. Two people came after me from Armenia. I left for Moscow, stayed there for a night and then left for Chisinau. They also took the same route. I can not find out their purpose, may be they were securities, but they were always close to me…
