On July 14, after an event dedicated to France's National Day in Yerevan, most of the guests were hospitalized with a diagnosis of intestinal infection, "Armat Media" said, APA reports.
According to the report, several hours after the outdoor reception held in the heat, many guests sought medical assistance with symptoms of an intestinal infection.
According to the information, the French Embassy in Armenia apologized after the guests were poisoned. At the same time, the diplomatic mission expressed hope that the causes of the symptoms would be determined.
It was noted that the French Embassy is in contact with Armenia's Ministry of Health regarding the matter.
A large number of guests were invited to the French Embassy's reception, including government representatives, politicians, public figures, and ambassadors. Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan also attended the event.
