"Washington supports efforts to achieve sustainable peace in the South Caucasus," James O'Brien, Assistant to the US Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, said in his speech at the opening of the meeting on the US-Armenia Strategic Dialogue, APA reports.
James O'Brien stressed that Washington supports efforts to establish lasting peace in the region.
"We are also working on expanding economic opportunities from Central Asia to the Mediterrian Sea, and if there is lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, these opportunities will further expand. And we are pleased to support efforts in this area," he added.
