US Embassy expressed its condolences to family of deceased ANAMA employee

We offer condolences to the family of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan - ANAMA employee who was killed in a landmine explosion today, The U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan shared about this on its Facebook page, APA reports.

"The United States is firmly committed to supporting Azerbaijan in its efforts to rid the country of landmines," the post read.

Recall that today, an employee of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), Isayev Ragif Deputat oglu, born in 1980, died as a result of an explosion that occurred during the demining process carried out in Jabrayil district, which was freed from occupation. During the incident, employees who received various injuries were evacuated to the regional hospital.
