Before becoming a member of the Organization of the Turkic States, we couldn't predict the processes that would take place in the world, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, said at today's press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in Baku, APA reports.
"Thanks to the Organization of the Turkic States, we have come to understand that this region, namely the Turkic world, is developing widely. At that time, we couldn't yet predict the political processes that would take place in the world. The Eurasian region plays an important role in the world," noted the Hungarian minister.
He stressed that the war going on in Ukraine is a burden for them.
"And we need a bridge for the development of relations. The Organization of the Turkic States is the pillar of this bridge between the East and the West," Szijjártó emphasized.
