Amid uncertainties and global changes occurring in the world, the South Caucasus region is gaining special importance, said Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, during a panel discussion held within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, APA's local bureau reports.
According to him, Georgia has proven for many years that it is a reliable bridge between Europe and Asia.
“We are doing everything we can to strengthen Georgia’s connectivity function as much as possible. In the current conditions where trade routes face challenges, we can offer certain services to our partners. Georgia serves as a transit hub for the movement of goods, services, energy, and digital data. We will continue working towards further strengthening this function of the country,” Kobakhidze added.
