Zaminbank gets 33% rise in profit

Baku. Parviz Nuriyev – APA-Economics. During the second quarter of 2014, Zaminbank’s assets stood at AZN 486.646 mln, up 22.3% by contrast to a year earlier.

Bank says the loan portfolio during January-June, 2014, rose 17.09% to AZN 288.692 mln, consumer lending soared 49.57% to AZN 213.961 mln, mortgage lending surged 0.84% to AZN 48.523 mln, overdue credits grew 59.73% to AZN 14.263 mln.

Deposit portfolio climbed 16.82% to AZN 103.220 mln, personal savings were equal to AZN 90.151 mln, up 10.33% in annual comparison.

Total capital increased by 14.03% to AZN 58.077 mln, while the authorized capital ended 11.85% higher at ANZ 47,181,800.

Incomes – AZN 20.498 mln (+2.07 times)

Expenditures – AZN 13.651 mln (+2.72 times)

Profit – AZN 6.847 mln (+33.37%)

The bank operates 38 branches, 39 ATMs and 1,891 POS-terminals across the country.
