YapÄ±Kredi Bank Azerbaijan sees 27% growth in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2013, YapÄ±Kredi Bank Azerbaijan’s assets stood at AZN 294.792 mln, up 27.1% from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 45.3% to AZN 184.028 mln, as well as consumer lending made AZN 72.574 mln, up 90.6% from 2012. Overdue credit rose 2.9 times to AZN 5.374 mln and its share in total loan portfolio increased by 1.4 percentage point to 2.9%.

Deposit portfolio soared 5.7% to AZN 110.159 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 39.556 mln, up 83.3% in annual comparison.

Total capital surged 0.3% to AZN 61.270 mln, as well as authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 46.811 mln.

Number of total clients soared 3.4 times to 115,808, including individuals – 3.5 times to 110,39, juridical persons – 2.7 times to 5,416. Number of plastic cards made 82,745, i[ 10 times from 2012. Debit cards increased by 5.7 times to 33,030, credit cards – by 19.9 times to 49,715.

Currently, the bank operates 12 branches, 25 ATMs and 1,820 POS-terminals across the country.
