VTB Azerbaijan gets rise in profit

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. VTB Azerbaijan’s incomes amounted to AZN 14.158 mln in three quarters of 2013, two times higher than 2012. Expenses rose 81.9% to AZN 13.112 mln.

In January-September, the bank got AZN 1.047 mln profit. However, the bank finished three quarters of last year with AZN 1.812 mln loss.

Interest incomes stood at AZN 12.385 mln, non-interest incomes 0 AZN 1.774 mln, interest expenses – AZN 3.932 mln, non-interest expenses – AZN 9.180 mln. Bank’s profit grew by 2.6 times within last year and amounted to AZN 8.453 mln, non-interest loss increased by 45.1% to AZN 7.406 mln.
