Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. “Though it was discussed many times, why the issue on credit interests is not solved?” said the MP Vahid Ah,adov in the discussion of budget package for 2015.
According to him, this issue was discussed many times and certain steps were taken to reduce credit interests. He thinks these measures have not yield results.
“Interest rates on insured deposits have been reduced to 10% from 12%. Certain steps have been taken. But, the credit interests did not reduce, the banks’ revenues rose to 5.2% from 3.5%. I think it is a serious issue. Because the credit debt of the population reaches AZN 1 bln. Their houses, techniques are confiscated. I think this must be prevented”, Ahmadov stressed.
