Receipts of state budget from tax agencies increase by 9% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Aqshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-September, 2013, the receipts transferred from Ministry of Finance to the state budget made AZN 4,951.6 mln, up 8.5% from previous year.

Ministry told APA-Economics that of this, 36.5% came from profit tax, 25.3% - from VAT, 12.3% - from individuals’ tax, 7.7% - from excises, 18.2% - from other taxes.

AZN 2,743.9 mln was transferred from non-oil sector.

In January-September, 2013, there were registered 54,835 tax payers. At the same time, 29,484 tax payers have been registered electronically. As of October 1, number of the registered taxpayers made 526,218, up 12.6% from 2012.
