Pasha Insurance heads insurance market for payments

Baku. APA-Economics - Musa Ahmadov. Pasha Insurance heads the insurance market paying AZN 25.2 mln in January-November, 2014, said the chairman of Azerbaijan Insurers Association Orkhan Bayramov.

Ateshgah Life Insurance paid AZN 22.7 mln, Ateshgah – AZN 13.4 mln, Azersigorta – AZN 12 mln, AXA MBASK – AZN 9.7 mln. Total payments by these companies made 57.9% of total payments.

The insurers doing less payments are Amrah Sigorta (AZN 442,000), Silk Way Insurance (AZN 332,000), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 76,000), Azergarant (AZN 48,000), Royal Sigorta (AZN 8,314) and Chartis Azerbaijan (AZN 4,641). Total payments of these insurers amount to AZN 910,000, 0.6% of total payments.

Generally, 4 insurance companies’ payments make over AZN 10 mln, 5 companies – AZN 5-10 mln, 12 companies – AZN 1-5 mln, 7 companies – below AZN 1 mln. 17 insurers increased payments, 11 decreased.
