Number of borrowers exceeds 2.3 mln persons in Azerbaijan

Baku. Yegane Lachinzade - APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2015, number of borrowers in Azerbaijan made 2,316,775 persons, up 18.61% or 363,544 persons from previous year, Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

 

Of this, 10,775 are legal entities, 2,285,226 individuals and 20,509 business entities.

 

According to statistical data, 359,029 persons have been added to the list of individual borrowers since January 1, 2014. Legal entity borrowers list added 673 persons, business entities – 3,812.

 

In December, number of individuals borrowed from banks rose 26,165, business entities – 429 and legal entities – 55.

 

In December, appeals received by the Centralized Credit Organization (CCO) rose 41.48%. The CCO received 346,653 appeals from member organizations. 336,621 of these appeals have been received from banks. 10,032 persons appealed to get information about credit history.

 

Individuals’ appeals rose 5.6 times in December. The number of appeals made 1,799 in January, 3,452 in February, 4,228 in March, 5,589 in April, 4,073 in May, 4,086 in June, 9,205 in July, 6,487 in August, 8,580 in September and 9,188 in October, 10,839 in November. This figure fell 10,032 in December.

 

The number of borrowers with the information in credit registry makes 2,316,540, number of credit information – 8,977,859. Guarantors made 1,078,807.
