Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. New Supervisory Board of Joint Leasing company has been introduced to public. APA-Economics reports that new chairperson of the Supervisory Board will be Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, members will be Rashad Hajiyev and Michael Bordman.
Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne is engaged in socio-economic activity in the Caucasus, Middle East, North Africa, European Union and US. She became a member of the House of Lords in 1997, since 2010 she has been member of the British delegation to the Council of Europe.
Rashad Hajiyev is deputy chairman of the Management Board of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, one of the shareholders of the Joint Leasing. Michael Bordman worked for Nomura Securities for 18 years, later was responsible for the development of energy projects in Asia, financial reporting, operation management.
It was said that the new Supervisory Board will pave the way for the development of the company on the international level. It was also noted that the new development strategy of the Joint Leasing will cover the plans on strengthening the company’s leading positions in the country’s leasing market and functioning independently of the International Bank of Azerbaijan. Rashad Hajiyev especially underlined this point and said independent activity of the company is one of the major objectives.
Moreover, the company is going to enhance the leasing spheres.
Along with IBA, UK’s DH Leasing company is also among the Joint Leasing shareholders.
