Mugan Bank sees 22% growth in assets year-on-year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2013, Azerbaijan-based Mugan Bank’s assets stood at AZN 319.111 mln, up 21.7% from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 18.4% to AZN 235.061 mln, as well as consumer lending made AZN 52.053 mln, up 91.7% from previous year.

Deposit portfolio soared 16.8% to AZN 116.255 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 90.548 mln, up 15.9% in annual comparison.

Total capital increased by 27.8% to AZN 50.748 mln, including authorized capital surged 45.9% to AZN 41.306 mln.

Number of clients grew 10.2% to 82,873, including individuals – 11.1% to 77,287, juridical persons – 0.1% to 5,586. Number of plastic cards stood at 11,561, up 10.5% from a year earlier. Debit cards rose 10.4% to 10,586, credit cards soared 0.7% to 975.

The bank operates 30 branches, 55 ATMs and 659 POS-terminals across the country.
