Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. The inflation in Azerbaijan is expected to be 2-3% in 2015, APA-Economics reports quoting the statement issued by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The statement says to ensure price stability will be the main goal of the Central Bank’s monetary policy for 2015: “Taking recent global and internal economic inclinations into consideration, the inflation is expected to be at low level for mid-term perspective. The inflation will be 2-3% next year. Monetary policy will quickly respond to both inflation and deflation risks. Character of this response will depend on demand and supply factors”.
The CB will pay attention to analysis of price indices and comprehensive evaluation of risks on being of inflation out of the forecast. Dynamic of core inflation will constantly be followed in order to differ temporary and long-term factors of eth inflation (deflation) impacts. Central Bank will also take into account the results of economic cycle model in the formation of adequate response of monetary policy.
