Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. International Bank of Azerbaijan has allocated AZN 173 mln loan through Islamic banking, Director of Islamic Banking Department of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Behnam Gurbanzadeh told journalists.
“Of this, AZN 130 mln fell to share of Islamic leasing”, Gurbanzadeh said.
He added that bank issued over 1,000 plastic cards, which allow paying loans given through IBA Islamic banking.
Bank intends to launch three Islamic banking structures in the regions from December 1.
