Finance Minister Samir Sharifov: â€œEconomic growth in Azerbaijan will make 5% next yearâ€

According to him, state budget incomes will be AZN 18.384 bln, expenditures – AZN 20.063 bln: “AZN 9.337 bln of state budget incomes will make transfers from State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, AZN 7.102 bln – from Ministry of Taxes, AZN 1.510 bln – from State Customs Committee, AZN 0.4 bln – from paid services of budget organizations”.

The minister said that AZN 6.282 bln from budget expenditures will be spent to industry and construction, AZN 6.260 bln – to governmental investment: “AZN 2.072 bln will be allocated for social protection and social security, AZN 1.997 bln – for General public services, AZN 1.653 bln – for education, AZN 1.637 bln – for defense, AZM 1.240 bln – for court, law-enforcement and prosecutor’s offices”.

Sharifov stressed that budget deficit is forecasted to be AZN 1.679 bln: “According to forecast indicators, budget incomes will decrease by 4.0%, expenditures and deficit will increase by 1.1% and 2.4 times”.

Minister of Finance called on the MPs to adopt the draft law on state budget.
