Final protocol signed at Azerbaijan-France intergovernmental commission meeting

He said the protocol contains the conclusions reached during the discussions.

“Some agreements and clauses satisfying both sides have been reflected. Azerbaijan highly appreciates the role of French financial institutions in financing of large projects. This cooperation will cover economy and culture,” he said.
Minister said Azerbaijan is closely cooperating with France in the field of airspace.

“As you know, Azerbaijan’s first satellite was launched by Ariane Space company of France. This cooperation is being continued. Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies is continuing talks with France for launching the second satellite. The talks will end up in a concrete contract in the near future,” he said.
Samir Sharifov said Azerbaijan Airlines CSC is widely cooperating with the French companies operating in the field of air transport security.

“This cooperation is not restricted to the purchase of spaceships. Cooperation has also been established on air security, air transport management,” he said.
